General Remarks about applications to anything anywhere:
Sure, I want a CV to know your Curriculum and a motivation letter to know why you are interested and what makes you especially appropriate for the job. But most CV and letters look just similar, plus I cannot know how 'course XXX' was deep and practical and if you listened or slept there. So it is especially important to describe all the projects - either scholar, summer job or personal - you were significatively implied in (plus nowdays you can easily put this in a blog or a *readable* gitlab, with descriptions/images/links/pdf). In final project/thesis/practice, do describe the topic and context of your job and of the company/lab which hosted you. Similarly, never self-censure yourself in the 'misc / personal stuff' section of your CV. And of course, a motivation letter must somehow feel motivated, specific and informed of the job.
